What is Faceonized and how did the idea come about 🚀

Happy Monday everyone!

In 2017, I had a flexible job that allowed me to take care of my two young children… but something was missing. I needed a challenge that would bring back my motivation.

I’ve always had a special radar for understanding people: I can sense what they’re like almost instantly, and I rarely get it wrong. That curiosity led me to study psychology and personality, and to notice a pattern: certain traits are reflected in gestures and facial features.

💡 Then I asked myself: what if we could encode this using computer vision and AI?

That’s how Faceonized was born, a health tech app that lets you understand someone’s personality just from facial images, offering a mirror to better understand ourselves.
